Lori Kamiyama
Reader, Torch & Tower
I came to tarot in 2015 during a turbulent time in my life. I was looking for something to tell me what was going to happen in the future, but what I needed was a way to hear my present self more clearly, past the noise of other people’s expectations and the stories I’d been telling myself. Tarot turned out to be remarkably good at that.
I started reading professionally in 2018 and in the years since, I’ve sat with people navigating career changes, grief, decisions they couldn’t stop second-guessing, and seasons of their lives that didn’t have a name yet. I’ve held space for feelings they couldn’t put their finger on, and helped them find direction in uncertain times.
I read for anyone standing at a threshold; that’s it. You don’t need to believe in anything, you don’t need experience with tarot. You just need a question and the willingness to really look at it.
How I read
I won’t tell you what’s going to happen, I’ll tell you what you can make happen. I’ll pull the cards, tell you honestly what I see, ask the questions the spread opens up, and follow the thread wherever it leads in the time we have.
Every reading closes with a final card, something to carry with you. Not a prediction. A direction.
