TAROT READING AGREEMENT & TERMS OF SERVICE

This Agreement is entered into between Torch & Tower (“Reader”) and the individual named in the booking confirmation (“Querent”). By booking or participating in a reading, the Querent agrees to all terms set forth below. Please read carefully.

1.  NATURE OF SERVICE

Torch & Tower offers tarot card readings as a reflective, exploratory, and entertainment service. Readings are designed to support self-reflection, encourage perspective-taking, and facilitate personal insight. They are not a form of counseling, therapy, coaching, medical consultation, legal advice, or financial guidance.

Tarot readings do not predict the future with certainty. The Reader makes no claim to supernatural ability, psychic power, or guaranteed accuracy. All interpretations offered during a reading are the Reader’s perspective based on the cards drawn and the context provided, and should be understood as one point of view among many.

2.  NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

Nothing communicated during a Torch & Tower reading — verbally, in writing, or by any other means — constitutes professional legal, financial, medical, psychiatric, or psychological advice. The Querent is solely responsible for any decisions made as a result of or following a reading.

If the Querent is experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or any medical emergency, they are strongly encouraged to contact a qualified professional, crisis service, or emergency services immediately. The Reader is not a licensed mental health professional and is not equipped to provide crisis support.

3.  AGE REQUIREMENT

All readings are available to individuals aged 18 years and older only. By booking a reading, the Querent confirms they are 18 years of age or older. Torch & Tower reserves the right to decline service if there is reason to believe this requirement has not been met.

4.  VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

Participation in a Torch & Tower reading is entirely voluntary. The Querent enters into the reading of their own free will and acknowledges that the service is of a personal and subjective nature. The Querent retains full autonomy over all personal decisions and is not bound by anything communicated during a reading.

5.  LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Torch & Tower and its Reader shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or in connection with a reading, including but not limited to decisions made by the Querent following a reading, emotional responses to reading content, or any outcomes related to the Querent’s personal, professional, financial, or health circumstances.

The Querent assumes full responsibility for their choices and actions following a reading.

6.  PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. The following cancellation policy applies:

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled reading: full refund or credit toward a future booking.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled reading: 50% refund or full credit toward a future booking.

• No-shows without prior notice: no refund.

• Completed readings are non-refundable. If a Querent is dissatisfied, they are encouraged to contact the Reader directly to discuss.

The Reader reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a reading at any time. In the event of Reader cancellation, the Querent will receive a full refund or, at their preference, a credit toward a future reading. Refunds will be processed within 24 hours of cancellation.

7.  CONFIDENTIALITY

The Reader will treat all information shared during a reading as confidential and will not disclose personal details to any third party without the Querent’s explicit written consent. Anonymized, non-identifying excerpts from readings may be used for educational or testimonial purposes only with the Querent’s prior permission.

Virtual readings conducted via video platform are not recorded without the Querent’s prior consent. The Querent agrees not to record the reading without the Reader’s prior consent.

8.  RIGHT TO DECLINE SERVICE

Torch & Tower reserves the right to decline, pause, or end a reading at the Reader’s discretion. This includes but is not limited to situations where the Querent is in apparent distress requiring professional support, where the reading environment becomes inappropriate or unsafe, or where the Querent is seeking guidance on matters that may cause harm to themselves or others. In such cases, the Querent will receive a full refund.

9.  SCOPE LIMITATIONS

Torch & Tower does not offer readings that involve third parties who have not consented to be read for, readings intended to influence, manipulate, or harm any individual, or readings on matters that require licensed professional judgment (legal, medical, financial, or psychological).

The Reader may decline to address specific questions at their discretion and will offer alternative framing where possible.

10.  FOLLOW-UP EMAIL

Every reading includes one follow-up email for questions that arise after the reading has been delivered. The Querent may use this follow-up at any time after receiving their reading. The follow-up is limited to one exchange per booking and does not constitute a new reading.

11.  GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from this Agreement that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding arbitration in the Denver metropolitan area, Colorado, in accordance with applicable rules.

12.  ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By proceeding with an online booking through the Torch & Tower website or scheduling system, the Querent acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms contained in this Agreement.
